About Fire TV
FireTV was
launched in May 2007 with the aim of taking the fire safety message
to new audiences.
We believe
FireTV will become crucial in educating people about issues such as
the dangers of hoax calls and dangerous driving and would like to
develop the site further to attract a wide and diverse
audience.
The site
is made up of three areas:
The
Live zone
will show footage from incident cameras and can be used to air
'warn and inform' messages to the public if a major incident were
to happen.
FireTV
also provides a platform for creativity and performances by groups
and individuals from within our community
- films can be displayed in the
Watch section of the site. Here, you will also find a
variety of fire safety films that provide tips on how to stay safe
in your own home.
The Play section of the site
has recently undergone a radical re-design! Let
our animated character Blaze take you on a
tour where you’ll find fun interactive games appealing to
younger audiences (however, they have also proved popular among our
older viewers!). Here, safety messages are relayed in a fun and
easy to understand way through animated and interactive
content.
