Type of duty system: Wholetime Duty System
Area covered by fire station: 30 square kilometres of a mainly built-up area, with the largest area of major risk in the service. This station covers all the high-risk industrial installations along the Coast Road and Avonmouth Docks.

Fire appliances: Two 1800 Litre Water Tenders, one Rescue Tender and one Road Rail Unit

Would you like to visit Avonmouth Fire Station?

All our 23 fire stations are available for events or station visits. The hours we like to keep within are; morning visits 11:00am - 12 noon, afternoon visits 2pm - 3pm or after 6pm.

For station visits, we do have a restriction on numbers of about 20 per visit, so please give us a call if you have any queries on 0117 926 2061 extension 477/478, or fill in the online station visit request form. Please specify which station you would like to visit.
